The day when all the norwegians dress up and look fancy.

This year though, we also had rain and snow.

Luckily for me…i was off to Oysteins/Thones house for breakfast. What was supposed to be a breakfast went on till 12am in the night…good times.

I had bought a roll of Delta 3200 some time back…and seeing the weather outside…i thought it was good time to use it. But the OM1 and OM2 dont like 3200…they have a limit of 1600…so me being smart…though i could load the OM2 with the 3200 set it to 1600 and set the Exposure Compensation to -1. But no…once u set the ASA to 1600…you cannot turn the EC dial.

BUT I AM SUPER SMART…not really…

I used the OM1 and manually underexposed all the frames by 1 stop…hardcore huh. Not really…i want the Nikon FM.

Anyways…the adventure does not end there…goto to the bustop and took few frames…for some reason the metering seemed strange…but i ignored it…got on the bus and saw that i had not turned on the camera. I am used to the 30d which i never turned off.

Rest of the day was standard…eating drinking taking pictures meeting people.

Ok there was one more issue…for some strange reason…the horizon on quite a few frames are zoinked…no its not the booz…if u see the previous post…i tend to shoot better when intoxicated.

I have updated the site…the sidebar has been removed as i wanted to have bigger images…i will add all the links from the sidebar in a separate page.

Its always fun to shoot with film, i did it when i was in hyderabad. So when i was home(bombay) for summer…i had to shoot some more film. I had my Agfa 535 and Surhuds Nikon FM10. This was shot with the FM10…which was a blast. We had a Nikon 35-70 and Vivitar 28-210(have to confirm with suri).

just to show you guys the crazyness outside the station. suri had taken off to buy the tickets…i was too lazy to stand in some freaking line. You can buy lots of cheap/fake stuff here. Stuff like perfumes/deo’s even underwear!!!

i have shot this frame a dozen time with my cameras…and i still love it. i remember sitting on our old showcase looking out the window for hours…good old days…carefree.

we were at suris place…to drink and eat…and to copy movies…thats what i am upto…as you see…we LOVE sitting on the floor.

suri and me were at lamington road to buy a sata to usb converted. We had both the FM10 and the 30D. So suri shot with the 30d and me with the Fm10…how things change. A year back suri would rant about how digi sux and film is the shit. Haha…what say surhud. Just to let you guys know…suri is now in UK with his FM10 and shooting Ilford Delta 400
