after couple of miserable rainy weeks…the sun was finally out

and we had a day off work…

so we met up…not here

but here…at ost park

allison will leave as for couple of weeks while she travels around europe before she heads back to Vancouver

they were from Bavaria, here in Frankfurt for a concert

Midsummer Oslo 2009

As you can see the site has a new look. Been working on this all weekend. There is one more tweak to be done, but that can wait.

Its getting pretty warm here in Oslo, i am glad i am heading to Indian in a weeks time. Speaking of which i will be Delhi for a week or so.

Did some more work on my Quake3 map.

Weekend was spend with friends enjoying the midsummer.

got off at the wrong stop, got drenched in the rain…but finally made it

i found son’s good friend

ville was sporting some fancy H&M socks

while Riikka was cold

jussi got the barbecue going

all the rain meant we got a rainbow

like this one a lot…there are people who cant be photographer…ville is not one of them

it was that time of the evening

Gressholmen May 2009

Gressholmen is an islet located in the Oslofjord, just south of central Oslo. Administratively it belongs to the borough of Gamle Oslo.

Gressholmen airport was for the years 1927 through 1939 the location of the main airport for Oslo, until the construction of Fornebu airport. The airport was only for seaplanes.

You take a ferry from Aker Brygge (left side towards the castle), you can use the same tickets you use for the bus/train.

been a long time since i prepared pork…so bought a kilo of pork and made some tasty curry
*totally unrelated

was going to meet up with olve, maja, Guillaume, Claire and Ville

we made it to the ferry just in time…with some running…which nearly killed me

olve pissed about being hit on the head by the plane

the girls were the first to get into the water…keep in mind…the water was cold

while i relaxed and had some grapes…it was all very Caligula (Guillaume took this one)

people were using sunscreen…which i did not and at the end of the day…i was a.o.k, the dark Indian skin saves the day

maja pointed out the BIG ship which had…literally sneaked in

so was the finn

olve was wearing his national flag…as i said…Norwegians are quite nationalistic (contrary to what they think)

we began preparing some food…

when BIG ship passes by sneakily…BIG waves hit the shore line…be prepared

the Norwegians were having a good time as well

the water got even colder…but that did not stop them from taking a dip

i was pretty knackered

Age of conan launch party

The Age of Conan launch party was held at DogA on the 9th…i was expecting crapy lighting…so carried all my cameras…which in hindsight was not the best thing to do. As i was exhausted carrying 3 body and 4 lens…i should have just taken the om with some 3200…but shit happens…

Anyways…the party was…decent…too dark and not so good music…but the food was excellent…

Most of the images are on film which i have yet to develop…i did get a few frames with the digital as well…and this time the 50/1.4 did not let me down…nice lens…

We found a floor light out in the smoking area…and decided to shoot some artsy stuff…which for some reason brought out the worst in olve

Sara and eirik…sara thinks i am stuck up as i did not want to get drunk at a company event…

the guy to the left is the voice of conan and seemed like a hustler

was trying to get some street style stuff in a party…me likes…1/10 with a 50mm…i am good…kidding

able was not drinking for some strange reason…but was giving a killer look…

i have a sharper frames but its posed…this one, though oof, is real…

at least i goto got to a barbecue…olve was preparing some sausages…the norwegian national dish

while maja was enjoying the sun

and i was looking forward to eat ice cream…

goto go home and eat some pork i prepared over the weekend and then some ICE CREAM!!!

Weekend barbacue

Partying has taken a nosedive…dunno why.

So i was awesome when we were invited by Einars father for a barbecue. The weather was great and the food was greater. Luckily for me everyone at the barbecue were kind enough to speak in english. Had some wine, chicken, ice cream, coffey, bailey and a good conversation.
