24th worldwide sketchcrawl

back online, no thanks to Telenor who had blocked all ports except port 80.

its getting colder…winter is around the corner.

saturday was 24th worldwide sketchcrawl, we met up at frogner park

as usual i did not sketch but took some photos…which felt good

got lucky with this one

the kid was learning parkour

at the top people were chilling out…chilling out is good

this was Alex’s first sketchcrawl

lots of tourists

he was just chilling out with his kid

guillaume sketched and did some water color

maja and olve sketched

loved the fact that she stood out

waiting for the tram at frogner plass to goto aker brygge

riikka and ville joined us…no, these are not them

torstein had arrived from bergen for a week at work and decided to do some sketch

the girl who is visibly annoyed came up to us and asked us what we were doing…and was surprised that we did this for a living…i mean art

more tourists…

while i pondered why people like to have their picture taken in front of “stuff”, ville smoked

soon it was time for dinner…olve had some fish

i had this chicken sandwich, which was awful

luckily i had also ordered a Crème brûlée

midsummer redux oslo 2009

So we had a second midsummer. Apparently Norwegians do not celebrate midsummer on the same day as the Swedes and Finns. Better for me…get to party more. Its all good.

Plan was to goto Majas summer cabin at Nesodden, chill out and see the bonfires along the coast.

it was quite sunny…but got pretty cold by the time we got back

got to Nesodden and started walking to the cabin

i wish more things were hand painted…like walls and stuff

this place stank real bad…

this cat followed us but at same time completely ignored us

as you can see i was testing out the zuiko 28/2.8…comparing it to the ef 28/1.8 which i used earlier on this trip

the zuiko 2.8 renders very differently to the ef 28/1.8

the lens is quite low on contrast which means better shadow detail…which means less digi look

got to a restaurant and saw the sunset

this frame does not show the other million boats which were there

heading back to Oslo…eating chocolates…as always…i love having french friends

on the road again

Had three rolls of film in the fridge for ages. Finally got some mojo to shoot film again.

Major disappointment as the photos have turned out pretty bad, both photo wise and development wise. Strangely the expired roll of velvia turned out better than the two rolls of tmax…what can i say.

This roll was shot with the new(second hand) 100/2.8 on the om1. Put a roll of 400 and the sun decided to show up…great. So could not really check its performance wide open.

on our way to Taste Of China to eat dumplings found that someone had stuck their car along the tram lines
