Norway 2011 Part 2 | Nesna, Vega, Brønnøysund, Torghatten
The plan was to goto Vega early in morning and camp there for the night. The day before we camped at Tjøtta, from where we would take the ferry to Vega. From Vega we would goto Brønnøysund to stop at Saras fathers house and also check out the famous hole in the rock…also know as Torghatten.

after some fairly miserable rainy days the sun finally showed up

we decided to take a break and enjoy the rare moment

and then after getting a mighty tan…

…we drove off to Nesna

on the way we met some Sheep

the SUN

the camping stop at Nesna was great…and there was a girl waiting at the banks

you could rent these cabins for the night

eirik and sara….contemplated about getting the cabin

…but decided to stick to the tent

we woke up to a nice sunny day…

took a ferry to Levang

stopped to take a photo of the bridge

and have some breakfast

then took a ferry to Vega

got to Vega and had a fish pizza for lunch…and yes it was delicious

place where we had lunch…had a very fancy WC

we drove to the beach

and chilled out

came back and set camp for the night

orange juice, open sandwich and cheese cake…the daily breakfast

took another ferry to Brønnøysund

stopped at Sara’s fathers place for lunch

Sara’s father had caught some fish earlier, which he barbecued…that along with fried onions and mashed potatoes, best food of the entire trip.

took a family pic

and drove to Torghatten

to check out the hole in the rock

said goodbye to the family

and began the drive to Trondheim

…but before that…

we took the ferry to Holmn

where we met some Elks!!!
