leaving work

on the road…in Oslo driving on the e18

we stopped for dinner once we got into sweden





we stayed at alex’s parents place


alex’s parents showed me their camera collection


sunday morning…we decided to go for a walk around town

last day in Stockholm

we checked out and moved our bags to a locker in the train station

and headed to the posh side of Stockholm

dunno why but just like frogner in oslo(where i live)…the posh side is full of old people



chilled out for some time in a park





there was construction going on…some sort of gig

who does that…

back to the malls


shopping done…everyone is happy


time for lunch

and some cheese cake

and then…back to oslo

next day…no more shopping…we decided to do some touristy stuff

avoided the spider infested bridge

and headed towards the Palace

which looks like this

if you have been to La Rambla in Barcelona…it feels somewhat like that

LOTS of people…we bought an Ice Cream and left

supermarket…bought Ubuntu Cola


made our way to Restaurant Gondolen at Katarinahissen

the restaurant was closed but the view was worth the walk




kept walking…dunno where this is…just that we were heading to south stockholm




had a pasta salad for lunch…

took the subway to the

hotel

back on the subway to skarpnack to meet Alex’s friend who just had a kid







back to the awesome pub we found eariler

day 2…got up and found this…

and shopped pretty much all day…stockholm was a welcome change from oslo which is not the best place to shop…not because its expensive…but because there is nothing to shop


i was lucky enough to get some snaps…alex was not…

had some food in the mall

more shopping then took a break for coffee

took a walk to south of stockholm…the glass building is where DICE/EA is located

and then we found the bestest pub…good music…good drinks…good service…and it looks like this…

goto to stockholm around 7 pm…

we had dinner…asian food…Kaki had bought a new camera

i ate some scampi…which the guys behind the counter said was VERY HOT…which was not

got to Västerås, checked in and went out for a couple of drinks with Alex and Kaki

the next day it was Childrens Day or something

bought some stuff at H&M

lots of kids…which i am not very fond of

bought some Champagne and went to Alex and Kai’s suite

was quite impressed how well the trims on the carpets lined up…

there were a LOT of photographers…but i was the only one paid for this…which is good

as i said…there were a lot of people with cameras…so my plan was to capture them being photographed by the family members

so did kaki

managed to have 4 glasses as i was pretty tired from all the running around

it was very sunny…


this one disappoints me a lot, it was to be taken at f8…all planned…theni forget about it and shoot wide opwn, my memory seems to have gone to the dogs


i was amazed how much a reflector can add to a photo
