Gamescom 2011, Koln, Crytek, Frankfurt

went to gamescom in Koln with the guys from Crytek

went to work to take the bus arranged by Crytek

stopped for a break

got there finally

was pretty boring this year

kenzo was busy making a sexy avatar in Rift

not much people dressed up as it was business day

got bored

and left to get some much needed sunshine

got back on the bus to frankfurt

and saw a rainbow

barbecue and Kubb in ost part

we were not the only one playing Kubb…there were two other group of people

no idea why but it seems someone is always getting married in Frankfurt

Got back from Norway on Thursday and flew to Berlin on Friday and stayed there for the weekend.
Despite the not so great weather the city of Berlin was great.

the bike culture in Berlin is on a different level compared to Frankfurt

lots of bikes

everywhere

and night

and the people riding them

were pretty cool as well

just like in Japan i managed to shoot lots of

legs

this on reminds me of the time i twisted my ankle pretty badly in oslo

i do like Nike, but two at the same time?

Day 1

we rented a very hi-tech opel for the trip, during the trip we discovered that the bonnet was open and learnt how to use the hand brake

germany is supposed to be at the forefront of green energy

2010 India

My annual trip to India got delayed as I moved from Norway to Germany to work for Crytek. Which meant I finally got to go back home for New Years after 5 years!!! Also this year I was there for two weeks instead of the usual three weeks. Which meant I did not get time to take much photos. Too busy with life and stuff.

In other new Crysis 2 MP demo for the 360 starts on the 25th of Jan, and there is a new trailer out today.

said goodbye to blois…took a train to paris

as it was tuesday the Louvre was closed but that did not stop the tourists

makes me wonder how bad it would be during the other days

lot of people wanting stuff or selling stuff

tying hard to take a frame that has not been taken before

dont think i could ever get myself to do that…jump off a plane i can

this is how it looks underneath

left the louvre and reached Jardin des Tuileries…where i saw a guided tour on segways….nice

and people in suits…keep in mind it was 35 degrees that day

this picture pretty much describes what i feel about the Eiffel Tower…its nice as a feat of engineering…but is spoilt by all the hagglers trying to sell shit

and thats it…took a final metro…then a ICE to frankfurt…

as of this trip…Blois was much much better than Paris…hopefully i will be back in Paris to spend some more time…and see all the non touristy stuff.
