Slept well and got up at 8. Torstein had a sigma 24-300, as somone who does not have any fancy zooms it a nice change. i tired to take some photos of the beautiful view from the house.

you cannot see it…but it was raining…and cold as hell…wait, thats wrong

i grew up watching Lonely Planet, it was facinating to see people travel all over the world.

i remember this particular episode from norway and wanting to go there to check these houses

so it was a bit surreal to be there and take this frame…crazy

later we went to the Akvariet (aquarium)

stopping for lunch…hotdogs…apparently this is THE place to have hotdogs in bergen

it was raining…windy…cold

we finally gave up and headed home

to have some traditional norwegian food, Fårikål

Day 1 | Day 2

flew to Bergen, to spend the weekend with Torstein and his family.

Bergen is the second largest city in Norway, with a population of 253,600 as of July 2009. Bergen is the administrative centre of Hordaland county. Greater Bergen or Bergen Economic Region, as defined by Statistics Norway, had a population of 385,450 as of January 2009.

Bergen is located in the county of Hordaland on the south-western coast of Norway. It is an important cultural hub in its region and was one of nine European cities honoured with the title of European Capital of Culture in 2000

the flight to Bergen took 40 mins…there i met the father and son

mother and daughter..had dinner and went to sleep

the next day…first stop was at Antonio Stasi camera shop. thx to Chris. He is fixing the yashica electro 35 gs which I bought.

as it would happen…it rained

we made out way to “De Naturhistoriske samlinger”

she ran away with Kristine’s cup of tea

be prepared for all the elevations in Bergen

pizza for lunch…

later we took the funicular to Fløibanen…she was kind enough to move her jacket

which let me take this frame

at the top…things went down

as it was pouring bricks and mortar we decided to head home

…felt like i was in Bombay
