we had some rain in the past few days…early morning, the commerzbank bank covered in fog

waiting at mainkur station for the train back home

we took a bus from crytek to koeln

Crysis 2 booth in the EA section

we showed the multiplayer component of crysis 2 for the first time to public

last week sara went back to Sweden to study
this week allison will go back to Canada to study
next week alex will move to Brighton to work for Google

while this sunday i moved into my new place in Sachsenhausen

at schoeneberger, bornheim..drinking massive quantities of apple wine

sasha trying to figure out how his new camera works

allisons friend whos name i forget was in Frankfurt for few days

we went to watch inception at the metropolis cinema

and said goodbye to sara

…and just like that, she was gone

allison wanted to have all you can eat ribs at yours in bornheim…

alex will be moving to the uk to work for google…

said goodbye to blois…took a train to paris

as it was tuesday the Louvre was closed but that did not stop the tourists

makes me wonder how bad it would be during the other days

lot of people wanting stuff or selling stuff

tying hard to take a frame that has not been taken before

dont think i could ever get myself to do that…jump off a plane i can

this is how it looks underneath

pretty cool

left the louvre and reached Jardin des Tuileries…where i saw a guided tour on segways….nice

and people in suits…keep in mind it was 35 degrees that day

this picture pretty much describes what i feel about the Eiffel Tower…its nice as a feat of engineering…but is spoilt by all the hagglers trying to sell shit

only to find this gynormous queue of people waiting to get inside…

and thats it…took a final metro…then a ICE to frankfurt…

as of this trip…Blois was much much better than Paris…hopefully i will be back in Paris to spend some more time…and see all the non touristy stuff.

we stopped for lunch at Chaumont-sur-Loire

and delicious it was

lots of people here with the same idea

if i knew how to swim…we would have done a bit of this

time for some wine

they store about 4 million bottles down there

on our way back we stopped at Amboise…

back to Blois…and a visit to Claire’s parents house…to pick some Raspberry…

while Claire did the easy work of picking berries i did the tough part…taking photos

later that evening we met up with Sylvain and his girlfriend…who’s name i sadly do not remember

next morning…time to make some Macaron

…at this point i was pretty frustrated with the lack of any good photos

so i switched to the 50

which…did not really help

4 days in France Frankfurt->Paris->Blois->Paris->Frankfurt

Early last year Guillaume and Claire moved to Blois, France while I moved to Frankfurt, Germany. Met Sylvain at Crytek who also hails from Blois. It was decided that the next time he goes back to Blois to meet his girl, I would be tag along and spent the weekend with Guillaume and Claire.

heading to the central station to catch a train to paris

took the TGV to paris

after a trip in the metro and some sushi

took another train to Blois

next morning…

later in the day we headed to Château de Chambord

on the way to Château de Chambord i noticed a nuclear power plan….

we decided to have a closer look

I finally gave in to the hype and decided to watch the world cup in a pub…i watched Germany lose to Spain.

With temperature as high as 35 degrees…the only sensible thing to do was to goto the lake once again.

Later in the week few of us from Crytek decided to jump off a plane at an altitude 4000 meters…yes, it is scary. So scary that i forgot all the instructions that was given…

past two weeks…

its hot…and i don’t have my summer clothes with me, need to find an apartment soon.

weekend involved going to a lake then a play then back to the main

developing photos, formula one, football…where germany pretty much did the oz on uk
