Barcelona 2008 part 2 | Casa Milà, Sagrada Família, Torre Agbar, Café De L’òpera De Barcelona, Casa Vicens, Park Güell
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Super busy this week…at work and at home. Been snowing all week. Last night a car kept beeping all night long…so much for a good night sleep.
Other than that…the usual.

made plans to check out Casa Milà

got there and bought the tickets. we were told the terrace would be closed due to rain. the tickets are valid for 15 days. so we decided to come back when the sun was out.

has some great food before heading to Sagrada Família

ok…its BIG…but its just a bit too much…no wonder its taking forever to be completed

the roof was awesome

as i said…its just too much…so much that it cannot be captured in a photo

from that to this…the phallic Torre Agbar

the city looks much better at night

picked up stuff at the super market before heading to the hostel

but…before that…following the tradition i started in japan…i got a hair cut. he did not speak english…i did not speak spanish. who cares…i got an awesome haircut for 100nok!!!

dinner

spanish omelet at the famous Café De L’òpera De Barcelona

took the tube to check out the market and Casa Vicens. really good metro, by far the most user friendly one i have traveled on.

Casa Vicens was not really anything…but the area around it was super cool

this neighborhood reminded me of the place close to harajuku in japan…feels good

from here we walked to the famous Park Güell

saw this dude with a tripod and a point and shoot…was a BIG WTF moment

shit loads of people…extremely touristy

but it had some cool architecture

hell yeah…that one feet elevation made that pic so much better

walking to the peak…supposed to be a good view

it was…strangely…not many people were there…was a good thing…relaxed for some time

went back down…second or third pic of legs crossed

love this one…

stalked her till i got this frame

Barcelona has the most colorful garbage bins

but old people everywhere look the same…but the ones here, always had this bag on wheels…no idea whats that all about

point-and-shoot on a tripod. HAS to be the best pic
it had me looking for the camera, only to find something that would rest quite comfortably with his credit cards…
