The Age of Conan launch party was held at DogA on the 9th…i was expecting crapy lighting…so carried all my cameras…which in hindsight was not the best thing to do. As i was exhausted carrying 3 body and 4 lens…i should have just taken the om with some 3200…but shit happens…

Anyways…the party was…decent…too dark and not so good music…but the food was excellent…

Most of the images are on film which i have yet to develop…i did get a few frames with the digital as well…and this time the 50/1.4 did not let me down…nice lens…

We found a floor light out in the smoking area…and decided to shoot some artsy stuff…which for some reason brought out the worst in olve

was trying to get some street style stuff in a party…me likes…1/10 with a 50mm…i am good…kidding

i have a sharper frames but its posed…this one, though oof, is real…

and i was looking forward to eat ice cream…

goto go home and eat some pork i prepared over the weekend and then some ICE CREAM!!!

Bought GTA4 this tuesday, the graphics are crap but the game is fun…

i looked at the weather forecast and it said it would be raining all week..so much for barbecue

got up and saw it was nice and sunny…hmm got to something…did not feel like going to work…still went to work and no one wanted to go out…so much for having fun when the sun shines…

luckily markus and helga were planning to goto the newly opened Opera House…i had an hour to kill before we went to the Opera…so i took a walk along Majorstuen. I was hoping to using the OM with a roll of Velvia which i got with the camera…but i forgot to put the batteries in the bag..and the batteries which i did have where metering .5 and 1 stop lower than the 30d metered…so no OM…

I am still struggling to focus with the 50mm…i am not happy with the AF and the MF is font or back…sux. I hate it when i lose a frame because the focus fucked up…

guess its a hybrid…u can drive it in water as well…HI-FI

Made my way to the Opera…which is ugly…and dangerous…i saw 3 people fall down as i made my way up the crazy building…typical example of Form over Function…some art-donkey must have come up with this awesome design that is crazy…BUT IT DOES NOT WORK…stupid

the guy followed me and asked me if i had taken a pic of his dog…i said yes…to which he said that i should take his permission before i take a pic of his dog…hmm…at this point i was going to tell him something nasty…but the bus arrived and i got onto it…he got onto it as well…and continued his rant…i asked him if i could take a pic of him with his dog…which strangely made him happy…so i took this one…

just to make it clear…i dont need to take any permission to take pics in a public place…

the same thing happened in a bar on friday where the bartender told me that i need to take permission…and this time i did say something nasty…

made my way home…

watched a couple of movies…slept

i need a vacation…i need a change…
