London trip part II
Me is back in Oslo…
Back at work…back to the usual.
London was amazing…different…wet and foggy. Good food…amazing friends…some crazy ones…mostly good.
Lets see…the tubes were insane…makes Oslo look like a small town…
central london was amazing…lots of tourists…
went to McEvil to take a piss…thats what its worth…
too a ride on the london eye…was ok…
as always it was more about the people not the place…
the trip back was quite an adventure.
I had to catch the flight back to Oslo from Stansted at 6:30. Spend an entire day trying to figure out how to get there. I was not too keen on staying at the airport all night as the last trains left at 9:00. Next option was to take the Stansted express from Liverpool…but it was canceled due to track work. The only option left was to take the national express from trafalgar square…which meant a total of 3 bus trip…AWESOME…i had not taken the bus so far…so this was a great way to do it.
Got on the first bus and i was out of change…so the driver told that suri could ride for free
Got on the second bus…0 change…so i gave the driver a 20 pound note…and he gave me a stare that said…FUCK OFF. After explaining(pleading) to him that we need to get the the airport for the all important flight…and that its a matter of life and death…we both got a free ride…he gave us some kind of IOU paper. Some time later a bum got on the bus and told the drive that he was not seeing too well and wanted to be told when the bus arrived at trafalgar square. Later he started impersonating a donkey…great. We got off and started looking for the Naitonal Express bus stop *W*…we found *U*…the bus was to leave at 3:15…it wasa 3:20 and we were still clueless. Finally we found it and luckily the bus was late…great. So the bus arrived at 3:45…next stop…airport…then Oslo.
As a kid i used to look into the sky whenever a airplane passed by…wondering if i would ever be flying in one of them. Years have passed…Bombay to Hyderabad to Oslo to London…
