canon 50/1.4 | 37″ TV | PS3
A bit of retail therapy…thats was the mantra of last week…
I brought the 50/1.4…yes i like fast glass…not a zoom fan but was presently surprised today…more of that later. So why 50/1.4 and not the 50/1.8. Two reasons, its a 1.4…and it has 7 blades unlike the 5 blades in the 1.8. Thats said…i am sure the 1.8 is as good as the 1.4. Call me a fondler whatever.
Should have gone out on friday…did not…my bad…note to self.
The 37″ full HD 1080P tv arrived yesterday…yes 1080P not 1080I…we don’t do interlaced…fondler? whatever…the lady at the post was quite surprised to see that big a tv delivered by post. Luckily the post office is close to home. Yay.
Went to IKEA…again!!! and brought the tv table…it was the WTF of the week…we missed the IKEA bus back to Oslo by a couple of minutes…we saw it leave as we paid for the stuff…suxx..so we took a bus…then a tube…then a tram…then a tram…then a tram….all this because we missed the fucking IKEA bus by a min!!! FUCK…
Connected the PS3…yes we have a PS3…or more like Markus has one. Played Skate and Folklore…which look AMAZING!!! goto buy it…
Went out with Leif today…was quite cold…hand froze…not cool. But got some good shots. Met some fondler’s…shooting with flash in broad daylight…great success…
I sense a bit of bitterness…not cool…maybe because i am hungry…should go home and play ICO…

saw this group of people from some photography school…yeah right…goto school to learn how to make proper exposures…how about just shooting?
all shots from here are from the 17-40 4 L which leif was kind enough to let me try…and it is awesome…not my type…slow zoom…but amazing contrast and optics…metering was easy as it did not keep switching…nice lens for day.
back to the school kids…or oldies with lots of money to spend on photo school…and a flash..WHY ON EARTH do you have a flash in broad daylight!!! what the fuck…school yeah right…
