Partying has taken a nosedive…dunno why.
So i was awesome when we were invited by Einars father for a barbecue. The weather was great and the food was greater. Luckily for me everyone at the barbecue were kind enough to speak in english. Had some wine, chicken, ice cream, coffey, bailey and a good conversation.

6 months in Norway
Oh yeah…so its half a year now. Time sure files when you are having fun…and i mean it. 6 months back all i knew was that i had to get out of hyderabad and get a new job…thats all. No…i did not plan to come to Noway.
CBJ to the rescue
It just so happened that i saw message from CBJ on doom3world about a job opening for a lvl designer at Funcom. Thats all i needed to know.
The TEST
I had to give a test.
Time…one week.
Got sam to make a concept. What a week that was. I did not have a complete week as i had to fly down to Bombay for my mothers birthday…i try to be a nice son. So all i had was 5 days, sun to thursday. I did not goto work during those days…worked from 7 in the morning till 12 at night and ate just Top Ramen. Nice. 3 days pass and on tuesday i realize how fucked i was…what i had planned to do for the test was more than i could chew on. FUCK. By time it was evening…the magic begun…things fell in place and it was awesome. Completed everything by thursday…goto Satish and Delnas house…test the lvl, mail it…hop on a plane and go meet my mother.
The good news
It was my moms bday on 8th september. Checked my mail…there it was…Paul…the producer for Age of conan…confirming that i had got the job. Best b day present for my mom.
Happy birthday mom.
The craziness that followed
Next day…hop on plane…goto hyderabad…hand over my resignation. Was not that bad thanks to my boss Imran.
Next week…fly down to bombay to get my visa done. Fly back to hyderabad.
The last few weeks were fun…goto a coffee house everyday and just chill.
Month later…leave hyderabad…for good.
Shopping shopping and more shopping…FACK. Tension tension tension.
Call visa office…they have fucked up. Delayed.
My bday on 19 oct was ruined due to all the tension with the visa issue.
2 days left for flight to norway…no VISA!!!
1 day left…visa is here…phew.
Next day…farewells…

Food sux
The city is mix bag,,,it has it good and it has its bad…just like any other city.
Its been a great time working at Funcom. The best part being…working from people from all around the globe. Its just…just…an enriching experiance. All the different point of views and ideas…its amazing. Especially in my team where we have Engligh, American, Turkish, Norwegian, Indian and my personal fav Australian. The Australian sense of humor is wicked.
