3 week since the new camera arrived. Getting used to all the buttons. Miss my Agfa…nice and simple…does not have 120 buttons on it and is tiny.

Anyways…most of the pics are turning out ot be crap so far. Not surprising as i have not been doing anything good yet. Did some good stuff on saturday… i hate shooting nature…

Went to watch 300

After the move had a rather strange discussion with a person who wanted me to accept the fact that photography is not such a good thing to do as it takes you out of the moment. Also that memories is something that should be in ones mind and not on print. Whatever.

Vigelands park
Next day i met up with Nicolay, Grant and few guys from the Beijing studio. We went to Vigeland Park. It was fun as were 6 people with cameras…nothing better than spending time with people who share a common passion for photography.

Went out with friends on Saturday. Went home early…too tired to party.

Woke up to a nice sunny morning…

Now the fun part. As it was nice and warm…me being the smart ass I am, decided to not wear my jacket. So I put on a woolen and headed to central to do some shopping and meet up with the gang to goto Sognsvann. By the time I was done shopping…I realized how cold it was. So headed back home to grab my jacket. Only once we reached Sognsvann did I realize that it would have been a big mistake not heading home and getting my jacket.

Moral of the story…do not trust the sun.

We met up at National Theater

We arrived at Sognsvann to see the whole place covered with ICE…ICE not snow…ICE IS EVIL.

Upon reaching the second frozen lake, we made a barbecue

And drank Beer and Vodka

Markus tried to start a campfire.

Had a real good time. Strange how easy it was to walk on ICE after a few drinks.

On the way back…bunch of drunken loud people.
