Danish cruise 2007
Last week few of us lvl designers from Funcom went on a cruise to Denmark. Well how do I put it, we did go to Denmark…just that we did not step foot on Denmark. We were too…tired (drunk) by the time we reached Denmark.
We got onto the ship at 8:00 in the evening. Went to our cabins…waited for an hour till 9:00…that’s when the duty-free shops open. At 9:00 we brought some (ahem) alcohol…mostly Vodka. Back to our cabins…the drinking began. Guess we drank for an hour and at 10:00 we went to grab some food. That done…we got back to drinking. Couple of hours later, we went to the nightclub to drink and dance.
Two things I noticed at the club…lot of gay people and lot of 40 year old ladies…scary.
We decided to crash at 6:00 in the morning, we were supposed to reach Denmark by 8:00…but we were too tired and drunk to realize when we reached Denmark.
By 11:00 most of were awake…went and had breakfast…Chris was accused of stealing food!!! Ha-ha. After that Thomas, Marna and I decided to check out the ship.
We had to leave the cabins at 4:00 and wait in the cafe till we arrived back at Oslo…that was the worst part of the trip…insanely boring…to add to the pain there was this huge lady who spoke like a man…scary shit.
That aside…we had a great time, as you can see from the pics.
